The Kentucky Court of Appeals just yesterday ruled that the state could not seize 141 online gambling domains because domain names are not gambling devices under Kentucky law.
The Court of Appeals ruling overturns the October decision made by Franklin County Circuit Judge Thomas Wingate which favored the state. He asserted that online gambling domains could be seized by the state because online gambling domains constituted illegal gambling devices that were prohibited by Kentucky law.
