Like I said a couple of days ago, I’ve been basically off the grid because of some domain deals I’ve been closing, on all sides. Sold MaskYourIP.com and 2 other domains as a portfolio for $700 to a developer with a large portfolio in the ip niche recently. My strategy with domaining is simply find out what people want and get it for them! Catch you later! Got to go close another deal!
Been out of touch for a while cos I’ve been busy having a mini vacation but now I’m fully back. Get ready for loads of stuff…
After 2 and half years of the .eu domain launch, the domain has really gained a strong hold in European countries, ranking the 4th most popular domain among European country domains. But it’s dominance is not only in Europe as .eu domain extension now ranks 9th worldwide. Catch the full gist … http://euroalert.net/en/news.aspx?idn=8344
Heard the gist yet? The US Government is lending its voice to the growing list of ICANN’s .whatever campaign. Catch the full gist …
Gone are the days when a look at a name with the .org extension or suffix conjures memories of a nongovernmental organization. With the most preferred of all extension .com gone these days in almost all product names, keywords and one word, small businesses and individuals are fast turning to the .org extension as a good alternative for launching a web presence.
In recent times domains registered in the .org extension is more than that for the .net, which used to be the basic alternative to .com and people are fast discovering that the .org is also a natural traffic puller.
I have personally registered and sold more domains in the .org extension than all other extensions put together this year. I have a blog on the extension that is doing ok, http://www.latestsoftware.org
So if you are looking to invest in domains or launch a web presence, .org a very good and profitable alternative.
For those who think .me is just a flash in the pan, here are some sales worth sharing.
At the second round of Moniker’s Domain Auctions at the Targeted TRAFFIC Conference held in New York Yesterday, .me domains really had an impressive showing.
Check out the .me sales
Date.me $70000 Love.me $32500 Kiss.me $20000 Ask.me $20000 Buy.me $17500 Loan.me $15000 Marry.me $12000 Show.me $10000 Watch.me $7500 Play.me $7500
Before you go break your bank for dotme domains, notice that .me domains that sell well are the ones that go well with the extension, especially those that make good phrases— “Date me”, “love me”, “kiss me” etc
Aftermarket.com’s domain auctions at Targeted T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Conference yesterday resulted in these sales,
50 domains auctioned 26 domains sold Total sales- $148,700
Highest- Illinois.org $148,700 Lowest- SpywareTracker $650 Average sales price – $5,719.23 per domain
Hi guys and gals, Sorry I’ve been out of contact been pretty busy with my article writing business and some domain sales. Anyway I’m back and better. First Things First, Just discovered a minor error which is actually causing a major problem with the last SOLVE AND WIN RIDDLE, here is the corrected version. Really very sorry about making you folks crack your skull for nothing,
Here Is The Corrected Version:
Got some coloured stones in a bag, actually they are twenty-eight in number. The stones are of 2 colors, red and blue. The blue stones are more than the red by just TWO.
Now assuming I have another set of twenty-eight stones outside the bag but the stones outside the bag are all blue.
Question: Now if I start taking 2 stones at a time randomly from the bag, when they are of different colours I put the red one back in the box but when the colours are the same, I take them out and put a blue marble back in the bag.
If I continue this until I have just 1 stone left in the bag. What do you think the colour of the stone will be and why?
NOTE: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT you state the colour and the reason why or how you arrived at that conclusion.
DOMAIN TO BE WON: EJJU.NET [repeating letter, acronym for European Ju jitsu Union, brandable]
Even if you are not interested in the domain, give your brain a tease, it helps develop your level of reasoning and helps you to develop a habit of seeing beyond the obvious, have fun…

The current market is not really good for LLLL.com domains apart from the “pronounceables” and “brandables” that is. Pronounceable and easily brandable 4 letter domains are a sure sale any day.
Sometime towards the end of last year, people rushed to pick up the last of theLLLL.com or 4 letter domains, this caused an increase in their value and earlier in the year the minimum a 4 letter domain sold for was $30, and those were the totally meaningless ones like ovpq.com, pkjz.com etc but now they are selling as low as $15.
New domain investors need to understand that, that is the way of the market, there will always be upward and downward trends, same thing happens in the real estate and stock market. Presently now is a perfect time to buy 4 letter domain names as you can get them relatively for cheap. This same trend, drop in value, happened to LLL.com or 3 letter domains 2 years ago but now the minimum they go for is $6000, the right kind could go for as much as $xx, xxx or $xxx, xxx.
So my advice, get good brandable and pronounceable LLLL.com domains now and keep them by this time next year their value would have risen pretty well. If you can’t afford the good pronounceables, go very average ones that have at least 2 premium letters and a vowel.
Premium Letters- abcdefghilmnoprst
Semi Premium Letters- jkuy
Non Premium Letters- qvwxz
LLLL.com domains are good investments, invest smartly. Just my 2 cents!!!
As it turns out nobody was able to figure out the riddles.
Will post a new one by tomorrow.
Here Is The Solution:
1. Wednesday
It is Wednesday. If it was any other day of the week, more than one statement would be true. To solve the riddle, evaluate each person’s statement and write down what day it could be according to the statement. Dan’s statement indicates it could be any day of the week except for Wednesday. When you list the days that it could be according to everyone’s statement, it turns out Wednesday is the day mentioned only one time.
Kelly: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday
John: Monday
Jane: Saturday
Moe: Thursday
Andy: Saturday
Sue: Friday
Dan: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday
